THE ALL-PURPOSE BASE
Mounting Board
What it is
A rigid, smooth-faced paper board — usually 2–3mm thick — used for structural bases and presentation panels.
When to use it
Site models, presentation boards, structural cores that need to stay flat.
TIPS FROM STUDIO
- →Cut with a sharp blade in two light passes — never one heavy cut.
- →Score, don't force — the surface dictates the finish.
